Brief Summary: "Dr. Suril V. Shah is actively engaged in state-of-the-art research works in the areas of design and control of a modular wheeled robot, reactionless visual servoing, algorithmic singularity avoidance, path planning for reactionless maneuvers, and motion planning of legged robots. He has also contributed in developing experimental setups of an earth-based prototype of a free-floating dual-arm space robot, climbing robots, a quadruped, a parallel robot and a humanoid robot as a part of his research. He is also involved in industrial research through his active collaboration with TCS Innovation lab on vision-based control, and technology development on self-balancing two-wheeler and AGV jointly with Students at IIT Jodhpur for an Industry. Dr. Shah has also taken up several outreach initiatives and contributed in developing a course on Robotics under National Mission Scheme on Pedagogy, offered GIAN course on robotics, organized a workshop in human-centred robotics and participated in the development of a free Dynamics solver named ReDySim."
