Gurujegan Murugesan

I am a linguist working as an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, India. My research focus is primarily on theoretical/formal linguistics with a fieldwork-oriented approach. I did my PhD at Universität Leipzig, Germany, on the topic Predicting the Anaphor Agreement Effect and its Violations. After my PhD, I have been working on non-canonical grammatical patterns of endangered/tribal languages of India and the general challenges they pose to the current syntactic theory.
