I work as an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India. Prior to Joining IIT Jodhpur, I was a postdoctoral fellow at IAM-Microstructure Modelling and simulation lab, KIT Karlsruhe (Germany). I have obtained M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras, India, where I worked at the integrated Modeling and Simulation Laboratory (iMSL) and the Mechanics of Materials Laboratory. I am passionately interested in understanding fracture processes in laminated composites, functionally graded materials using novel computational methods.
