About Me

I am research scholar affiliated with Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Mahesh Kumar. My research interests include revolve around 2D Materials synthesis, optoelectronics, and gas sensing.
My thesis work has been completely focused on “Design and Fabrications of deep ultraviolet photodetector based on ß- gallium oxide and gas sensors based on 2D material”. Through my Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) independent research project I aim to combine the diversities of both engineering fields to some extent and develop nanostructured gallium oxide (Ga2O3) based deep-UV photodetector and sensors for toxic gases, which is a smart, intelligent, portable, and multifunctional design concept and will bring more type of UV photodetector and gas sensor out of the lab and help make them ready for real applications. My supporting institution Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur and my supervisors has a wealth of experience in this arena and has many industry and international collaborations. It offers both invaluable contacts and industry-specific knowledge that helps facilitate my investigation. Further, my previous research internship experiences in Intel India Pvt. Ltd. Bengaluru and CSIR CEERI Pilani has allowed me to develop my research aptitude, problem solving ability, effective presentable and writing skills, making this project feasible from research methodology standpoint.
