We are available at lab no 305 at the second floor of BSBE building and at W7 Berm. Our group is working at the interface of chemistry and biology which involves peptide synthesis, small molecule synthesis against Alzheimer’s/Parkinson's Disease, Antimicrobial Therapeutics, Exosome Biology, Cancer, and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Our interest also includes Microtubule Function, ROS & Stem Cells and designing Biophysical Platforms for understanding biological events.

In this venture, we report an easy and efficient strategy to culture cortical and hippocampal primary neurons from the E14-E16 embryo of Sprague–Dawley rat. This generates spontaneous neurospheres within 6–7 days of primary neuron culture of E14-E16 embryo. The neurospheres generated could be used for screening of a number of different potential neural differentiating agents, as they are rich in neural progenitor cells (NPCs), and they could also be used to screen drugs for various neurodegenerative diseases.
