Research Facilities

Synthesis/Fabrication Facilities: Bulk, Nanoparticle, thin films and heterostructure device fabrication Fume hood, chemical synthesis accessories, and tubular/box furnaces up to 1000 °C, Oven, hot plates, spin coater, in-house developed dip coating system, DC & RF sputtering system, Three zone thermal CVD furnace for 2D TMDG and other nanostructured materials, Battery electrode fabrication setup including coater, pressing machine, cutting and crimping/de-crimping accessories

Characterization Facilities: Electrochemical work station with impedance, in-house developed T-history setup for PCMs, in-house developed solar simulator integrated with I-V & C-V measurements, Ferroelectric loop tracer for bulk materials, Dielectric characterization, Thermal conductivity measurement for bulk materials, Battery testing setup

Computational Facilities: PCs and work station in group for DFT studies and device simulations. Institute HPC (high performance computing) cluster is regularly used for computational work.
