About Conference

The IIT Jodhpur is taking initiative to address the current challenges and opportunities in designing novel materials for renewable energy generation, storage, and their integration for real applications such as high energy density batteries and green hydrogen for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), hydrogen fuel cell for distributed energy needs. This conference will not only provide a platform to address some of the fundamental scientific issues in the energy domain but will also provide solutions to some of the existing challenges. To meet these challenges and fulfill the needs, IIT Jodhpur is organizing a national conference on “Energy Materials and Devices” during December 16 – 18, 2022.

Conference Aims and Outcomes: The conference will provide and outstanding platform to the national and local experts from academia and industry for the purpose of:

1. Raising awareness among scholars and researchers for the need of renewable energy sources.
2. Exchanging knowledge to achieve more efficient energy materials and energy efficient devices to ensure the energy security for a better Aatmnirbhar Bharat.
3. Building a coalition in support of national interest on exploration of various energy materials and energy efficient devices.

Participants will include academicians and researchers working in the energy area from various Indian institutes and universities including industry people as well.
