We are excited to announce that the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at IIT Jodhpur is hosting a one-day national Workshop titled "Precast Concrete Building – A Case Study at IIT Jodhpur" on Friday, November 24, 2023.

This workshop will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person and online participation options. It aims to highlight the innovative construction techniques implemented on our campus, catering to industry professionals and academics alike. We have lined up experts intimately involved in the project to deliver insightful lectures. Additionally, we are fortunate to have a speaker from Japan who will showcase the cutting-edge technology employed in advanced construction practices. The focus will be on presenting the challenges faced and the unique construction methods utilized in buildings at the IIT Jodhpur Campus. To provide a hands-on experience, we will also arrange a Site Visit to the Newly Constructed Hostels at IIT Jodhpur Campus.

Please note, as the event is only a day long, there will not be an accommodation facility arrangement.
