Welcome to the Quantum Electronics and Spintronics Technology (QuEST) Group at IIT Jodhpur, led by Dr. Dushyant Kumar. We operate at the vibrant intersection of novel physical phenomena and advanced experimental engineering. Our mission is to harness the fundamental physics of spin and emerging quantum phenomena to design, fabricate, and characterize scalable architectures that serve as enabling building blocks for next-generation quantum technologies.

Research Interests

We investigate the fundamental physics of topological quantum materials, focusing on nonlinear transport and spin-orbit coupling to engineer solutions for next-generation spintronics, high-frequency sensing, and sustainable energy conversion. Using an end-to-end approach, from thin-film growth and nanofabrication to precision electrical and optical characterization, we develop sophisticated architectures that serve as enabling building blocks for future quantum technologies. Our work bridges the gap between basic materials research and the realization of high-performance, quantum-enabled devices.
