Current Openings
Applications are invited for Ph.D. positions in computational soft matter physics (polymer electrolytes, coarse-grained simulations, machine-learning force fields). Candidates with a Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science and a valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET score are encouraged to apply through the IIT Jodhpur admissions portal.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in computational physics, chemistry, or materials science can apply through national fellowship schemes (NPDF-SERB, Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship, DST INSPIRE). Write to us with your CV and a short research statement before applying.
Short-term research projects and summer internships are available for students with a strong interest in molecular simulations, Python programming, or machine learning. IIT Jodhpur students can reach out directly; external students may apply through institute internship programmes.

Useful preparation: familiarity with statistical mechanics, a scripting language (Python preferred), and simulation packages such as LAMMPS or GROMACS is a plus, but enthusiasm to learn matters most.
