Glimse of UPG

The group is exploring novel physics in plasmonics, quantum and 2D materials for future nano-electronic and photonic applications. Primarily, our group focuses on 2D Van der Waals materials, intense luminescence materials, Metal Nanoparticles and Materials for THz applications. Our strength is studying the fast dynamics using high intense and Ultra-fast lasers with broad spectral range, including UV-VIS, IR and THz. Nonlinear optical effects in the materials due to high-intensity laser pulses drive the research towards a deep understanding of Light-Matter Interactions.
