We are always looking to train enthusiastic volunteers who want to acquire experience in setting up a laboratory. We will provide a wide variety of challenging tasks and help you successfully master them. You will be rewarded by recognition as authors or volunteers on published works to which you contribute.
PhD Student
We are looking for highly motivated PhD Students to join our team. There are three projects available which can be selected for PhD thesis. The research will be conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur (IITJ). IITJ provides an interdisciplinary academic atmosphere with interactions with experts in the field of Neuroscience, Biology and Engineering. The research facility at IITJ provides all the necessary equipment including a state of the art microscopy and flow cytometry core facility. As part of our team you will be trained in critical thinking and experimentation, scientific paper writing, power point presentation, grant application writing and exposed to regular conference visits with poster presentations. If you are hardworking, meticulous, organized, and would like a challenging and rewarding experience as a PhD student, we want to hear from you.
PhD students are selected by the IITJ selection process. The lab does not select candidates independently so please check the IITJ website regularly.
Masters Student
We are looking to hire motivated Master's students to pursue research projects in cellular and molecular neuroscience. Once in our laboratory, you will be a part of a dynamic team working together to uncover the inner workings of the healthy and diseased brain. You will be exposed to scientific paper writing, hands on lab work, power point presentations, grant application writing, and conference visits. We are looking for students who are driven to take their career in scientific research a step further. If you believe you are ready for the challenge, we want to hear from you.
